New Patients: Please call us at 916-482-4084 or e-mail us at email@example.com to schedule an appointment. If your pet is ill, we guarantee a same-day appointment. We also offer convenient drop-off appointments and will call you once your pet is seen by the doctor. Walk-ins are welcome.
Special Offers: We offer low-cost vaccine clinics with no extra exam every Wednesday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Low-cost spay and neuter clinics for dogs and cats under one year of age (based on your pet’s weight) are offered every Tuesday and Thursday. You have the option of adding a pre-operative blood panel and intravenous fluids to increase the safety of the procedure for a reduced rate.
Ear Cropping Procedure: Please call us to speak with a consultant about ear cropping and to set up a consultation appointment with Dr. Susan Barrett, who has over 30 years of experience and has performed over 10,000 successful ear crops with a perfect safety record.
Your First Visit:
When you arrive at our office, a member of our team will greet you and your pet with a warm smile. During your first visit, you will be asked to fill out required forms that will provide us some background information about your pet’s past or current medical conditions.
Our certified veterinary technicians will ask you some specific questions about your pet’s history and to discuss possible beneficial veterinary medical care. Finally, our veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination and make any specific recommendations for you and your beloved family member. We might talk to you about specialists that can address difficult medical issues. We believe in diagnosing a problem before beginning treatment, and we won’t initiate treatment without your consent.
The veterinarian will tell you all of their findings as they perform the examination. We will discuss with you in detail any abnormalities found during the examination. Additional testing may be recommended to diagnose or confirm any health problems.
Our team will provide you with additional information relevant to your pet’s physical examination and will discuss with you recommendations for continued care and / or medical treatment for your pet. We will answer any questions or concerns you may have about the recommended procedures or tests.
Treatment may include prescribing medications, vaccinations, dietary changes and more to make sure your pet is healthy. Depending on the nature of your visit, we may recommend further diagnostic testing so we can better understand your pet’s illness. You’re welcome to remain with your pet throughout the process.
