Your First Visit:
Office Visit
When you arrive at our office, a member of our team will greet you and your pet with a warm smile. During your first visit, you will be asked to fill out required forms that will provide us some background information about your pet’s past or current medical conditions.
Our certified veterinary technicians will ask you some specific questions about your pet’s history and to discuss possible beneficial veterinary medical care. Finally, our veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination and make any specific recommendations for you and your beloved family member. We might talk to you about specialists that can address difficult medical issues. We believe in diagnosing a problem before beginning treatment, and we won’t initiate treatment without your consent.
We guarantee we will see your pet the same day if it is ill by appointment, walk-in, or convenient drop-off.
Exam
The veterinarian will tell you all of their findings as they perform the examination. We will discuss with you in detail any abnormalities found during the examination. Additional testing may be recommended to diagnose or confirm any health problems.
Information
Our team will provide you with additional information relevant to your pet’s physical examination and will discuss with you recommendations for continued care and / or medical treatment for your pet. We will answer any questions or concerns you may have about the recommended procedures or tests.
Treatment
Treatment may include prescribing medications, vaccinations, dietary changes and more to make sure your pet is healthy. Depending on the nature of your visit, we may recommend further diagnostic testing so we can better understand your pet’s illness. You’re welcome to remain with your pet throughout the process.
