Consultation with Board Certified Surgeon: $125

All care in veterinary medicine is not equal – and that is never more true or more important than when your pet needs surgery.

Whether it is a routine spay / neuter or a complicated orthopedic surgery, you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands at Watt Avenue Pet Hospital.

Dr. Susan Barrett and technicians work hard to make sure every aspect of our anesthetic, pain management, and surgical care is the best available today in veterinary medicine.

Our doctors perform a wide variety of surgery including routine spay and neuter, soft tissue procedures like abdominal surgery and tumor removals, and difficult orthopedic corrections such as bone plating and TPLO knee surgery.

We provide safe anesthesia tailored to your pet as well as comprehensive pain management protocols to ensure your pet is pain free should they require surgery.

Routine Spays & Neuters

All our routine spays and neuters include pre-operative labwork, intra-operative IV fluids, pain medication during and after the procedure, and a buster collar to go home. All patients are monitored under anesthesia with advanced monitors that track heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and ECG.

Specialty Surgery

Watt Avenue Pet Hospital has board certified veterinary surgeons that are available to perform complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. These include cranial cruciate rupture repairs, fracture repairs, hip care, and complex abdominal and thoracic procedures.
